Annual Schedule
1st Term (3 months)
While mainly focusing on learning basics, children practice the choreography for an event / recital held once every half a year. *Its frequency varies every year. Contact us for details.
2nd Term (3 months)
We hold an event/recital to show the result of kids' hard work in a first half year. You would be thrilled to see their visible growth!
3rd Term (3 months)
Classes might be restructed after the event/recital as needed to raise the level of performance. Perhaps they perform in local events to get more stage experiences.
4th Term (3 months)
We are setting up an annual recital in the end of the school year. Children work hard to practice for their stage performance!
About A Recital
Gravis holds a recital once or twice a year to provide an opportunity for children to perform what they’ve been practicing on the stage, so you can witness your child’s growth in person!

Our Policy for A Lesson
The improvement of dance skills doesn't happen overnight. "Continuous effort" is extremely important. Kid's motivation is essential,of course, but we also think it is important that we offer a good system and environment for parents to keep their child come to lessons regularly.
Lesson Quality
Lessons at Gravis are organized by class, rather than by tickets, and we consider class as a team. It is because we prioritize "lesson quality".
By structuring lessons by classes, students can take lessons in the same place, from the same instructor, and with the same members. Over time, this helps to build teamwork in the class, and not only helps students improve their dance technique, but also their cooperation and communication skills.
The friendly atmosphere also makes it easy for new members to fit in, and creates an environment where students can have fun while pursueing the improvement in dance. Since it takes time to acquire good dance skills, we designed our classes to ensure students are excited to show up each week.
Our school system that makes it easy to continue.
We believes that parents' cooperation is essential for kids' lessons. However, we should not rely too much on parents either.
For example, we hold events/recitals twice a year, but all of the rehearsals are implemented in regular lessons, so that there is no need for parents to adjust their schedule just for the rehearsals.
Also, we does not ask parents to find a studio or prepare costumes.
We keep making efforts to offer a good system that will make it easier not only for the children, but also for the parents to continue.

Parents' Comments
As the class is newly opened, I thought it would be easy for my child to make friends. I am excited to hear that the instructor would share videos of the lessons with parents! I also heard that many of the members are beginners, so that's another reason why I chose this class.
Many of my daughter's friends are taking dance lessons, so she started saying that she wanted to take them too. I'd heard that Cheer Dance was cute and good to learn teamwork, so I figured we'd give it a try. I am really looking forward to seeing my child in practice and at her recitals!
I was talking to my friend in Japan whose child is already taking lessons at Gravis. She told me that the instructors are of a high standard and the regular recitals are a good source of motivation. She also said there are no other duties parents are expected to fulfill, which is a big advantage over other after-school activities.
